Modern English School was founded in 1975 by the Chhedanagar Education Society with a vision to establish an institution of excellence, dedicated to produce worthy citizens of tomorrow. What began as a small initiative in a garage with just 25 children, has today grown into a reputed school with over 1,800 learners and a committed team of 55 dedicated teachers.

Kindergarten Admissions

Application forms for Kindergarten admissions will be issued tentatively during the last week of December.

  • Parents seeking admission for their ward are requested to carefully complete the registration/admission form with all relevant details and submit it along with the necessary supporting documents.
  • All applications, along with the submitted documents, will be carefully examined by the School Management. Admission will be granted based on the school's admission criteria and the availability of seats. The decision of the School Management shall be final and binding on the applicant.

Admissions to Primary and Secondary Sections

Admission to the Primary Section (Classes I-IV) and Secondary Section (Classes V-X) is subject to the availability of seats.


Documents Required

For admission to Classes I-IV

Parents must produce the Aadhar card copy and original Birth Certificate of the student, issued by the relevant Government/Panchayat Authority, as proof of the Date of Birth entered in the Admission Form.

For students transferring from another recognized school

A student seeking admission after transferring from a recognized school will be admitted only upon submission of a valid School Leaving Certificate (SLC). The certificate must be duly countersigned by the Educational Inspector/competent educational authority of the concerned area/state, wherever applicable.
